We may obtain information which cannot under any circumstances be linked to a particular person. This information relates to the type of internet browser that you use, your computer system and the name of the domain by which you accessed our site.

3. What are Cookies?
When you visit our site, we will put “cookies” onto your computer. Cookies are just small ‘text file’ that is placed on to your computer by our website as you visit us.
A cookie does not allow us to identify you. They are widely used across all websites in order to help make websites work, or work more efficiently by “remembering” your favourites, or your choices, which we can use the next time you visit us. Cookies help us to help you, for example, you will not have to complete forms the next time you visit us.
If you turn off acceptance of cookies from Dacia UK certain areas of our website might not work for you at all.
4. What Cookies do we use?
Control of the preferences of the web browser: used to confirm that your web browser can accept cookies.
Visits of combined session: used to indentify the session of the user for the global statistics.
Monitoring of the user’s session: Used to follow your session, nonintrusive and doesn’t follow you between visits or during several visits of the website.
This cookie is typically written to the browser upon the first visit to your site from that web browser. If the cookie has been deleted by the browser operator, and the browser subsequently visits your site, a new __utma cookie is written with a different unique ID. This cookie is used to determine unique visitors to your site and it is updated with each page view. Additionally, this cookie is provided with a unique ID that Google Analytics uses to ensure both the validity and accessibility of the cookie as an extra security measure.
This cookie is used to establish and continue a user session with your site. When a user views a page on your site, the Google Analytics code attempts to update this cookie. If it does not find the cookie, a new one is written and a new session is established. Each time a user visits a different page on your site, this cookie is updated to expire in 30 minutes, thus continuing a single session for as long as user activity continues within 30-minute intervals. This cookie expires when a user pauses on a page on your site for longer than 30 minutes. You can modify the default length of a user session with the _setSessionCookieTimeout() method.
This cookie stores the type of referral used by the visitor to reach your site, whether via a direct method, a referring link, a website search, or a campaign such as an ad or an email link. It is used to calculate search engine traffic, ad campaigns and page navigation within your own site. The cookie is updated with each page view to your site.
This cookie is not normally present in a default configuration of the tracking code. The __utmv cookie passes the information provided via the _setVar()method, which you use to create a custom user segment. This string is then passed to the Analytics servers in the GIF request URL via the utmcc parameter. This cookie is only written if you have added the _setVar() method for the tracking code on your website page.
This cookie is used by Website Optimizer and only set when the Website Optimizer tracking code is installed and correctly configured for your pages. When the optimizer script executes, this cookie stores the variation this visitor is assigned to for each experiment, so the visitor has a consistent experience on your site. See the Website Optimizer Help Center for more information.
We use third-party advertising companies to serve adverts on the sites which we advertise. This advertising technology (1) uses information from your visits to this website, and the sites on which we advertise, to show adverts to you and (2) places a third-party cookie on your browser.
We also use web beacons, provided by advertising companies, on both our website and on other sites, to help manage and get the best from our online advertising. Both cookies and web beacons allow us to show you advertising that is relevant to you.
5. How do I control my cookies?
You can choose to opt out of our cookies which will stop you receiving any customised content and special offers during your visit.
The first time that you visit www.dacia.co.uk we will ask you if you wish to accept cookies from our website. If you agree, we will not ask you again when you return.
If you would prefer not to participate and not to receive this cookie, please check this box □ and click 'Save'. If it is already checked then you have already chosen to opt out and unchecking the box and clicking on 'Save' will opt you back in.
Most web browsers allow some control of most cookies through your internet browser settings. To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites visit http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7. What information do you collect from Live Assistance users?
During the engagement, Dacia UK customers enter into a live question and answer session with an operator either by text chat or live video call. We maintain dialogue transcripts of these chats. After the chat, we ask customers to fill out an exit survey in order to obtain valuable feedback about the levels of our service. Filling out the exit survey is completely voluntary. Moreover, all personal data is only collected if you voluntarily supply it, e.g. when completing a contact us form. If during the live engagement the individual chooses to enter personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses), the disclosure of such data is done so by the user on a voluntary basis. Such information is not passed to any third parties or used for any other purpose(s) than that/those requested by the customer.
We log browser information (e.g. Internet Protocol addresses and browser types) to help diagnose problems with our server, gather broad demographic information and administer our site. By choosing to engage in a chat or video call and use the services, the user consents to such logging and processing of IP address.
8. Browsing with Live Assistance
Dacia UK aims to offer you the best possible help and advice in the context of your visit to our page. As part of the live engagement you have the option to choose (by pressing the appropriate buttons) different communication channels. If you have chosen an engagement via voice or video communications, a recording of that communication does not take place at any time and therefore no video or voice data is either captured or stored. You have the option at any time to terminate the conversation by pressing the appropriate button.
9. Read the Live Assistance summary
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors and users of our live engagement services. We use the information we collect to provide a better experience for future use of our services and to provide our customers with valuable feedback on their website visitors.
