I purchased my Jogger on 5/3/25. One of the first things I do now is switch off the automatic driving aids (lane change, speed alarm, gear alarm etc...). If you need to be constantly reminded to change gear and stay in your lane, then maybe you should surrender your licence. You should be aware of what you are doing at all times and not rely on a computer to do it for you, especially when that computer has been poorly programmed. Despite switching this feature off there are still annoying visual 'reminders' which are just inappropriate almost all of the time: The gear change indicator is very poor. It indicates you need to change up a gear when you actually need to change down. Usually this happens when climbing hills, but it also happens on the flat too. If I did what was indicated I would be constantly stalling. At the 50mph mark it will rapidly switch from indicating you should change up, to change down, then up again repeatedly, even though your speed has barely changed. So you are being told you should be in 4th or 6th gear constantly at this speed. What's wrong with 5th gear Dacia? It's like you don't want it to exist.

In the almost 100 days I have had this car it has failed to start 4 times. The engine has also cut out unexpectedly whilst driving, 3 times, always when changing up from 2nd to 3rd gear. You go from accelerating up in 2nd to a dead engine just as you go into 3rd gear. Dangerous! Despite driving with the 'safety features' switched off, I have STILL received 'WARNINGS': twice advanced safety warnings activated to warn me of 'imminent collision'. There was NO 'imminent collision' on either of these occasions. Once It happened when sitting at a red light, not moving, with plenty of space in front of me, and another time, at 40mph, there was absolutely nothing in the road ahead of me. I have received warnings telling me to keep control of my vehicle when I already have control. The 'lane assist' is dangerous, so I will never have it switched on again. It reads lane markings from old roadworks and actively tries to pull you into what it thinks is a lane, even though that lane no longer exists. I am unhappy with the performance too. Sometimes you can accelerate and the car pulls ahead nicely. Other times you accelerate and it feels like someone else is pressing the brake at the same time. This give you a sense that you are not really in control of your own car - and you are NOT if a computer is constantly trying to override you. Had I known that I would experience these driving conditions I would not have bought this car.

I ordered the seven-seater from the catalogue. Had I had the opportunity to test drive one, I would never have ordered it. I wanted 7 seats so I could take my grandchildren out together. My granddaughter is in a car seat behind the passenger seat. I have to put her in one side, then go around the other side to fasten the seatbelt in as it sinks below the seat!!! If my granddaughter is in the car, then no one over 5ft 4 can sit in the front, as the seat has to move forward to give her legroom. When the car was passed over to me, my granddaughter was sitting in her seat. The showroom man showing me the car, had his knees up to his chest. Even he said “oops, this isn’t going to work well with tall people.”

I have long Covid, COPD, and a serious back injury. My back hurts more driving. I didn’t realise how low down it was as it was advertised as an MPV which I presumed was like my prior car with a higher seat. I cannot put my grandchildren in the back two seats on the motorway or faster than 30mph roads. The seats are too cheaply made, too flimsy, and only inches away from the boot should a vehicle or worse still a lorry crash into us. Even on a 30mph road, I am constantly checking the vehicles behind me. Then there is the middle seat, middle row seatbelt catastrophe! Who on Earth designed a family car with the seatbelt for it, in line with the back two seatbelts? I can’t have anyone sat in the middle, if anyone is in the back. It serves as a distraction. Kids are going to be kids and they have several times annoyed the middle seat passenger by tugging on the seatbelt that crosses their faces. Then we have the cars intelligence system, telling me how to drive. Stupids commands coming up telling me to take a rest or take control of the car, and so much more. Only yesterday it was telling me to take control, and trying to steer me into the hard shoulder. It doesn’t always recognise some of the lines from lines that have been painted over. I cannot use the seven seats to go anywhere with all the grandchildren. The two back seats are a no, and only my grandaughter or a front seat passenger can ride. Therefore making is only a 4 person car!

My Jogger is only 3 months old, and I already have a ton of issues with it. I'll mention the problems with the Lane Tracking Assistant and Sign Recognition. The front camera often stops working, and a huge message appears on the display saying "Front Camera Lost Visibility," which cannot be dismissed and blocks part of the useful information on the screen. On top of that, it disables the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel.

I also had an issue with the gear shifting. Once, the car struggled to engage first gear when starting off, and there was a grinding noise, similar to trying to engage first gear in a manual transmission without using the clutch. A few times, the car had difficulty shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, jerking back and forth while trying to disengage from 2nd. The automatic wipers stopped working as early as the first month.

The biggest problem I’ve had is with the brakes. On two occasions, the brakes lost servo assistance. The pedal became stuck in the upper position and hardened like a rock, requiring immense effort to make the car start braking.

For all these issues, I returned the car to the dealer – Sutton Park Renault in Birmingham. Unfortunately, they told me there was nothing they could do since the ECU didn't show any errors, and the problems didn’t occur during their test drive.

In summary, I’m very disappointed with the car. It seems like my car is an isolated case because I described the issues in several forums, but no one else confirmed having similar problems.

It is not a smooth car to drive, it almost feels like I’m driving on cobblestones, it feels rumbly. I’ve always driven cars where I pull the sunshade down with my head hand, but on this I’ve got to pull it down with my right hand, after forgetting and trying to use my left hand, my right hand is always on the steering wheel. All other cars I’ve driven, when I use cruise control ( which I use every time I drive), when I’m in a 30 zone and enter a 20 zone, after having being stopped, when I re-engage the cruise control, the cars I’ve driven automatically go to that speed. On this, unless I remember to deselect, then re-select cruise control, it remains at 30, and by the time I take to switch it off, I’m going about 25 or 26 mph. I drive at a proper 30 mph, not the speedometer 30 mph, so I get an annoying overspeed beep which I try to turn off, but immediately turns itself back on. I am 6’ tall, in my natural driving position, nobody can sit in the seat behind me, unless it’s a child. It’s a bit frightening, when I’m driving at 40 mph and I go too near to the white line, and the car automatically takes control of the steering. I am also finding it very difficult getting into, and definitely getting out of the vehicle.

To start with the passengers seat is fixed - not good - the rake of the windscreen is not good, the sun visor is not good so seat for people over 5 foot not in a good place due to the fact - if the passengers seat is pulled forward so their feet can be used correctly in the car - If that car does an emergency stop they are going to damage their heads of the sun visor causing damage at the front of the head then their head if sent back causing whiplash or more - and this car is said to be safe for people with certian conditions - where I can say the condition I has caused more damage since I had this vehicle due seating position , not being able to higher the seat either due to head room - I have had to have a seat assessment to check the mobility foundation are advising people correctly for their conditions

In theory it’s a lovely looking car BUT very underpowered especially between 30/40 mph it absolutely revs the engine to bits. It has a lot of one time faults that come and go, it picks up chalk on the road as white lines and try’s to steer straight which is quite scary but the worst one on the motorways it will just miss speed sign warnings and the take control alarm keeps going off for no reason but the one time faults come and go and never near a Dacia shop

Very under powered, lane assist can’t be turned off permanently not safe to leave on or needs updating, no rear storage space and no spare wheel as standard, headlights blind other road users, rear seats when folded forward are damaging head rests, no storage for rear blind, when middle row of seats when returned to standard position can damage seat belts, cruise control on initial set up take you to far above the speed requested .
