safety systems
Sandero Stepway features standard equipment complying with the latest European GSR 2 safety standard, and makes all your journeys easier with its many driver-assistance systems!
AEBS VRU system
The AEBS VRU (Automatic Emergency Braking System – Vulnerable Road Users) is an automatic emergency braking technology designed to help prevent collisions. If a risk is detected, the system issues visual and audible alerts. If the driver doesn’t react, the vehicle brakes automatically to avoid impact.
DMS driver attention monitoring system
The Driver Monitoring System analyses steering behaviour and other factors such as speed and journey duration. It can assess driver fatigue and detect signs of drowsiness, triggering visual or audible alerts to prompt the driver to take a break.
parking and driver-assistance systems
Sandero Stepway is equipped with new-generation driver-assistance systems that guarantee safety and fluidity in all your manoeuvres.
blind spot warning
An invaluable aid, especially in dense traffic or on freeways, the blind spot warning system detects vehicles located in areas "invisible" to the rearview mirrors (blind spots) and alerts you with a warning light in the rearview mirror. It helps prevent unsafe lane changes and reduces the risk of side collisions or swerves.
lane-keeping assist system
The lane keeping assist system continuously monitors road markings and corrects the trajectory if the vehicle deviates without indicating. With a slight steering correction, it helps you stay centered in your lane. By limiting the risk of unintentional lane departure, this assistance enhances safety on everyday journeys as ell as on motorways.
