A solid 7 seater with better access to seats 6&7 than my previous car a Citroen Grand Picasso and the Kia Sorrento we looked at. There is good versatility in the seating options but not quite as comfortable and roomy as the Citroen.

It moves 7 people around with ease.

Price was a big deciding factor in the purchase along with the number of seats included kit.

Style wise it looks good.

Reversing camera is great in daylight but is impeded by a bright light in the dark and even more so if it is raining.

Lane assist is annoying.

When it is cold the gearbox, engine, electric motor seems to hang on to a lower gear and sounds high revving for quite some time.

The road at the bottom of mine is about a mile and a half and some days it's nearly the entire length before it changes to a rev level I would in a manual.

I am achieving about 54 mpg but I am disappointed the battery range is so short about 1 to 1.5 miles but I do like driving in battery mode.

Much of the time the usable battery range is from the 75% to 50% before recharge kicks in occasionally it will drop to around 25% and charge to nearly 100%.

Acceleration is quick if you need it and even has the wheels scrabbling for grip but unsure if that is the supplied tyre brand against the brand I normally use.

Infotainment system is easy to use especially the access to Android Auto.

Space-wise it's great with the rear seats removed. We have carried 6 regularly and find it to be perfectly comfortable. For the price it's not too bad in comparison with other manufacturers. The electric handbrake system is buggy and a constant source of frustration as it attempts to apply at every opportunity of seatbelts unclicked (regardless of speed!) or as you attempt to pull away. The media nav system suffers the same crash fault as the Sandero when plugging in a phone at the wrong moment. The auto-lock-unlock system needs to be disabled to save your battery going flat within a week (yes, even if your keys are encased in faraday pouches inside steel safes - it just sqwaks constantly draining the car battery). The centre console drinks holder is only useful in one of the two due to the overhang of the arm rest storage container. Build quality was noticably better on the Jogger than the Stepway, with just a few quality check scrimps on visible carpet staples, threads out of the headliner and missing phone holder from new. For an estate car at the price point, it does what it says on the tin.

The Jogger is a very versatile car for the price, with the choice of being a seven seater or having a large carrying space. It is also proving very economical at over 60 mpg.

Annoying things are the speed limit indicator and the lane assist function which keeps pulling to one side on the motorway. I think it is designed for straighter roads than we have. We need the ability to turn these off functions permanently rather than every time you start the engine.

The satnav is over demanding on postcodes. It should understand postcodes with or without spaces.

Lastly, I don't know if it is the car or me not having driven a hybrid or an automatic before but it seems to over-rev sometimes when accelerating and I don't know if it is because it is changing from petrol to battery or if that is how automatics accelerate.

On the whole I would recommend it as excellent value for money.

The phone linking function does not show incoming texts on the screen as my old car did.

On the whole it is a great car for the money but some simple tweaks would make it more user friendly.

Frugal practical stylish comfortable capable no nonsense vehicle… EXCEPT for the Nanny Software always chirping, chiming, beeping, hooting … if I select driver settings with a double tap, I want those on always and forever until I decide otherwise.

The lane assist is rubbish, remove it. The honking for leaving without turning off is irritating… default it to drivers door opens, engine off.

The headlights are poor.

The indicators cease beeping if there is another nanny warning at the same time.

Occasionally, the whole audible thing drops completely including indicators until a stop start cycle.

There isn’t much legroom to the sides of the driver’s knees.

Mechanically… sometimes the engine hunts between EV and petrol if there isn’t much load and the speed is about 40kph. On off on off on off twice second. Annoying.

Also, does the thing really have to rev its socks off during a charge cycle at low speeds?

Engine is noisy.

Road is noisy - cabin is a bit Spartan.

Apart from these gripes, it is a good car and I’d buy it again.

Cars quite nippy and has decent miles per gallon, howevrer does some weird acceleration when trying to come to a gentle stop.

Car came with a blob of blue paint on the front panel & boot cover broken and not usable (garage notified still no replacement). Definitely not suitable for our family of 6 like we expected, but having no other options on motability we were left without a choice. Not enough room for anything but short journeys with 2 adults, 3 teenagers a car seat plus anything you may need for your day out. My 15 year old has to sit with his knees in his chin if he's not in the front seat. The middle seats don't adjust forwards and backwards, and the double seat if not practical either, they don't fold down well either to give extra boot space. So we don't go out as a family anymore which is kind of stupid & not the point of motability at all.

Would be great for a family of 5 but I wouldn't describe it as a MPV!

I have 2 physically disabled adults in the family to transport. When we ordered this car (motability) we were shown a more premium model than we were ordering. Several of the "selling points" that we needed we were told we're still going to be on the model we were getting, like electric back windows and swivelling roof bars. The adult who sits in the back can't manage the window handles it actually came with, so if they get too hot we have to pull over to wind them down, which is inconvenient and could be dangerous. The bars do not swivel so we've had to buy another set of roof bars to fit, making the car higher so I'm not sure we'll fit in some car parks with height restrictions. We need a roof box as when we go out with the whole family we need one extra seat in the boot, the rest of the boot space will be taken up with 2 wheel chairs, so any luggage needs to be in the roof box.

Compared to the feedback on the Jogger Social media platforms which generally tends to be negative, my experience and 1st impressions so far have been very positive. the flexibility in the seating and space options is very good and so far consumption figures are positive. Enjoying the larger petrol tank / extra range compared to my last car. As always nothing is ever perfect, the lane assist is too aggressive always pulling the car from side to side, despite being in the middle of the lane, and appears you cant switch it off permanently ?. The fact that the wing mirrors don't automatically fold in when locking the car, something I have had for the past 15 years or so is infuriating. Road noise is high especially on motorway. This is my first Dacia and overall I am happy with my switch but time will tell as to whether it becomes my brand of choice.

I love this car though it has its positives and negatives. I love the size, the fuel efficiency, the ease of driving, the fact its automatic so driving in bumper to bumper traffic is easy, I love the styling.

I dont like the way the car keeps moving my steering wheel tell me to keep control, even though I'm in control and its more to do with the poor road. Well designed

The worse thing about this car is the electrics seem to have a mind of thier own changing settings at will, knocking the sat nav off while driving, taking control of my mobile with a poor WiFi system, the cars sat nav needs improving. I am leasing this car I would not buy only because the electrics really need to be improved, if the electrics were dealt with I would buy this car in an instance as it's a amazing product for the money.

Great car overall, very spacious even the rear seats, which have plenty of room. The boot in very small when rear seats are up, cannot fit wheelchair. The downsides, The speed limit on roads do not work. I was in a 30 the other day, and said it was 80. There has been loads of times where on a national speedlimit, and it randomly changes to 20/30 and start bleeping at me. The lane assistant is terrible, there have been too many times where the vehicle in in the middle of the lane, and then it pulls me left/right which has really scared the kids, and the worst thing is falling chairs. If you place any of the seats up resting against the seat ahead, if you even mildly put you foot down, the chairs are going to fly back, and really cause some damaged if any feet are placed where it joins and clicks in

Been driving my Hybrid Jogger for about 18 months and had no problems. It’s such a great utility vehicle. It’s taxied 5 people and luggage to airports it’s taken my old kitchen to the tip and takes me to and from work every day. At the moment I’m averaging 58.7 mpg ( summer, during cold months drops to about 56) which for a big car I think is exceptional. It’s not overloaded with tech, physical knobs for the air con and heater nice infotainment screen. Used to have a Kango van so the radio controls on the stalk are familiar. Gearbox can be a bit confused sometimes at in between revs. The hybrid system is seamless and it surprising how often your in EV mode even on motorway jaunts. It’s a budget car but it does everything I need well. All in all love it and glad I have it.
