The system improves road safety in urban or suburban areas by detecting pedestrians, cyclists or any vehicle that suddenly appears. It alerts the driver, and the brakes are automatically applied to avoid or mitigate a potential collision.

The driver attention alert system analyses steering wheel movements as well as other parameters such as speed and journey time. It can assess driver fatigue and detect signs of drowsiness. If necessary, it triggers an audible or visual alert to prompt the driver to take a break. This system can be customised via My Safety settings. It can also be completely disabled.

Activated from 40mph, this system steers Dacia Bigster back into its lane if it crosses a continuous or broken line without using indicators.

A warning sound activates to compensate for the reduced visibility. It alerts you to the presence of vehicles outside your field of vision with visual signals in your mirrors.

Parking and driver-assistance systems

Bigster is equipped with new-generation driver-assistance systems that are designed for safety and fluidity in all your manoeuvres.

Let the cruise control system keep you a safe distance from the vehicle in front. The brakes are applied if the distance closes. The vehicle accelerates again when traffic conditions improve.

This feature offers enhanced stability during steep off-road descents. Thanks to the integration of the ABS system, maneuver over loose or slippery ground even in the most difficult conditions.

 

Drivers can easily adjust the speed between 3 and 18 mph using controls on the steering wheel, to ensure a smooth, safe ride.

Automatic low beam/high beam switching gives you optimum visibility when driving at night. 

 

Equipped with a camera at the top of the windscreen, this system analyses light sources and automatically switches between main beam and dipped beam depending on lighting and traffic conditions.

It detects the proximity of obstacles to the front and rear and warns you with audio and visual signals to simplify your manoeuvres.

Detects the speed limits posted along your route, indicating the authorised speed on the dashboard. The system alerts you if you exceed the maximum speed limit.

Connected to the Media Nav system, the Multiview Camera shows the images from the four onboard cameras. It is triggered by reverse gear or by a simple touch of the dedicated button.

Transmits a rear view to the screen when you put the vehicle into reverse. Makes manoeuvring your Bigster easier and safer.

It is your responsibility to stay alert, drive safely and be in control of the vehicle at all times. You should not solely rely on driver convenience and assistance features. Some features may not work in all conditions and circumstances, and they have speed and other limitations.
