car is ok, but i worry about the rattly automatic transmission at low speeds and in reverse with 4 people in its very juddery. Another disappointment is the dab radio reception, took it to the dealers after a week, they tested it and found that it had very limited DAB reception. They contacted dacia uk and were informed that it is a known firmware issue and is not scheduled for prioritised rectification. Also Startins, the dealership, said that i had to contact Dacia to find out when the radio firmware upgrade will be available then arrange with them for the radio to be upgraded!!!. Appalling that a new vehicle is sold, with a known radio issue, that the dealership does not inform a potential customer about!!, that could deter a potential sale

Having had had 2 Dusters in a row, I'm very disappointed with the my new acquistion. The windows are much smaller, so much so, that you haven't bothered with a rear screen washer! My wife complains she can't se out of the windows properly from the passenger seat, that has no height adjustment.The radio only comes on half the time, and controlling it's volume seems to have different results each time I try to adjust it. The heating controls are impossible to see at night, and the positioning of the Hazard Warning switch often results in the Hazard lights going on, when struggling to adjust the heating.

I could go on, but I think you'll gather that I'm generally not very impressed.

This is our forth duster , and have been very happy with it performance and looks , a couple of alterations which would not cost ( by altering the drivers side windows/ mirror buttons so the window button are at the top easier to use and not having to hit your elbow to get to them and with the mirror button now at the bottom which you only use infrequently ) the other which I have had conversations with salesman is why don’t you put a retaining LIP on dash board to stop items sliding off shelf every time you turn or alter. Direction ( easily done at very little effort ( self adhesive strip in same or contrasting colour) and please bring back desert sand !!!

This is our third Duster, all bought from new from Lookers Stockport, all three cars have been very reliable with good standards of comfort and reliability.

The above says it all, however the radio on our current model, which is the Extreme lacks the ability to manually tune into different FM and DAB frequencies and relies on auto scanning, this fails to pick up news programmes like GB News or music programmes of our choice, which our previous 2019 Comfort did without any problems, perhaps I am missing a trick here, if I am, it is not obvious, this in my opinion lets the car down. I would appreciate a response from yourselves on this issue.

Was a bit unsure at first after 3x stepways. But the upgrade to duster is amazing. Took a while to get used to 6 gears, but now after 1500 miles getting used to it.

Still some sort of issue with the dab radio, so just use FM. This needs sorting.

Loads of room and mahoosive boot 😁

Same size engine as the old stepways but no noticeable difference, in fact the duster appears to have more grunt. Technical Dacia wizardry.

Oh and the heated seats mmmmmmm

Lots of usb sockets front n rear keep everyone charged.

Long journeys easy with the sat nav cruise control and comfy seats.

Nice car quieter than my previous Dacia

Disappointed no spare tyre or stowage rack.

Noted that the parking break does not stop shut off engine eco mode

Ignition key slot not as intuitive as previous model, have to get key perfectly square on, could be dished in so key does not slide all over the flat surface

Petrol engine stalls often

Clutch catches fitted carpet on release

Otherwise a nice ride, comfortable for town and long distance. Easy to drive and steering wheel is very comfortable.

Very happy except for niggles. Hence 4 stars

Comfortable, spacious, and great value for money, I have been impressed by the overall performance and appearance. If it has a down side, Economy mode is almost too slow it borders on being dangerous, cannot and should not be used on A-Roads so in standard mode to date we have not got more than 42mpg, despite having driven more than 4K miles. Minor niggles, Petrol cap release lid got jammed closed, and it took me 3 visits to dealership to get "pulling" Steering wheel off set issue, finally fixed....it was bad tracking.

The vehicle is great. It’s a Dacia; you get what you pay for except in this instance. I drove out of the showroom listening to my favourite DAB station. A couple of months later or less, I can’t! Alas, most of the digital stations have disappeared leaving a handful of poor choices to listen to. The dealership tells me there is a software issue that’s being worked on but that was two months ago. A minor issue I know but come up on Dacia, at least give me a media player that works!?! Is the sharks fin aerial just for show?

I have owned, in turn, a 2019 Dacia Duster Prestige and then a 2022 Dacia Duster Prestige . Both excellent cars and great to drive. I was so pleased with the performance of these Dacia cars, I purchased a brand new Dacia Duster Extreme on 31st December 2024 and I'm really very pleased with this updated model. The styling and extra features are superb and I would not hesitate to recommend the Dacia Duster Extreme model to anybody considering buying a new car. Exceptional styling and value!.

Very comfortable, good mpg, spacious, practical, good handling for type of car

Downside, for first 500 miles some of the features didn't work e.g Lane assist and blind spot monitoring, then suddenly turned on but haphazard when they work ( not too fussed about lane assist as more annoying than useful). Front camera sometimes doesn't work, radio sometimes doesn't turn on, auto selector sometimes doesn't work ( switching off/on the car seems to sort this for now)
