I have a brand new 74 plate Dacia Duster. Immediately I noticed the reverse camera was faulty. Dacia acknowledged this fault and,after inspecting it so did Arnold Clarke whom bought the car from. Both entities blame each other and say it is their responsibility to fix the problem so basically nobody is accepting responsibility. The matter is now with the Ombudsman who has agreed I have a genuine greavance and are looking into the matter for me.

I'd only had the car for around 6 weeks when I noticed the fault and I told you and the dealership I wasn't happy with the car. It got to the point where my car spent more time sitting on the forecourt of the dealership than it did on my drive.

Can you improve things I certainly hope so.

Unfortunately you can't in my case, I've lost faith in Dacia and certainly wouldn't buy or recommend you to my family and friends.

The engine operation of the new Hybrid is awful. It roars away whilst driving in warm weather even as slow at 25 mph for most of my in-town journeys. The noise level is uncomfortable, disturbing, hard to think over. I hate it and very much regret buying it. I tried to give it back after a couple of weeks but was not allowed to - the buy back offer would have lost me over £5000 after only 10 days.

Taken care of back to garage tomorrow.

They state i am not driving the car properly.

Engine making heavy revving noise when at a higher speed. Feels really uncomfortable when this happens. Warning light comes on check lighting. Fatigue light comes on sometimes and light on side mirror when nothing there. Really disappointed with new car.

Asked for a manual as there are lots of buttons etc and very hard to learn what they all do without instructions. I have been waiting months for this promised manual but still no sign of it. No communication from Holdens in Norwich to tell me what the delay is. Completely fed up and beginning to wish I hadn’t chosen a Dacia.

needs a software update as nothing working on the touchscreen and garage couldn't do it because they hadn't got the correct hardware to connect to vehicle. I am driving round with no heating/cooling, no sensors, cameras or speed recognition. Doesn't connect to My phone so no hands free

After having my last Duster for nearly 6 years I was really looking forward to getting the new model... already been in once for work on the drivers door & the problem still isn't fixed.

Also find the safety features far too sensitive & intrusive, more likely to cause an accident than help.

The windows have been found open on two occasions, automatically opened whilst parked and 'locked'? Unexplained hazard warnings and stalling. Over complicated media screen and other functions that get turned off but then are on again the next time you drive. Overall - very frustrating

The amount of useless technology has overtaken the enjoyment of driving. I have been a duster owner for the last decade and I really regret buying this new model. I have had no end of problems with the screen not working and have to wait till March 21 for someone to run diagnostics

Parts are unavailable and it has been off the road for 3 months ! Customer care and service is diabolical !

I was told I could have one update a week and that’s it sbd if I hadn’t had an a. Identify I wouldn’t have the problem from the Iron Lady in customer not caring service
