I owned the old style Stepway in 2014 and it was a far more enjoyable drive than this new style. It’s not is very basic and sluggish and I don’t enjoy not enjoy driving it. The only good thing I will say is it gets me from A to B.
It beeps constantly for no know known reasons which is pretty annoying.
It’s not a smooth drive and judders along until you get into the higher gears
I took it back into the dealership to have it checked and they said nothing was wrong with it. Salesman took me out and drove it carefully at 20-30 mph and said he thought it was fine.
Sorry but I don’t want to drive everywhere at 20-30mph
Without doubt the worst car I have owned

Build a car that is reliable and doesn’t break down after 17 days from new.
Provide a service centre that responds to problems quickly and has enough diagnostic technicians to support the service.
I would not attempt to purchase a Dacia product again.
I eventually received a refund but the whole process/experience has made me steer well clear of Dacia in the future which is a shame.
Although the car was faulty Dacia UK needs to look at certain dealers who effectively sell their product and are falling short of the standards that I’m sure Dacia would expect.
Not sure whether this will change anything.

Remove the active braking function on all your cars as very unsafe, nearly caused a fatal accident.
While you are at it get rid of all the other rubbish like lane assist, wobbly wheel and fall asleep assist.
My other car is a 1939 Wolseley 10, no seat belts, no beepy buttons, no gimmicky rubbish Just leather, walnut and steel when cars were hand built. Dacia had the right idea but you couldn't help yourselves fitting all the gimmicks to keep a non thinking public happy

This is our third new Sandero and far and away the worst, in spite of moving up the range.Have to slam passenger door and boot to close properly, armrest makes it difficult to fasten seat belts and is hard compared to previous car and is also none retractable. Ride seems bumpier than before, no printed handbook, no way to take "lane assist " off without having to do it every time you start the car so overall a great disappointment.

Shocking..Noise coming from engine ..after sales ...Shocking....service staff so flippant when I kept asking them to listen to the engine ...service staff told me to take a similar car for a run to compare the engine noise ...but it was a different model ..in fact it was the care I traded in ..so incompetent....never again and I will be communicating this review on other car sites ...

The car has had a noise from the engine compartment since almost the day it left the dealership, whilst agreeing the existence of the sound they have unable to fix it. Since it's purchase in January it has been in the workshop for 4 weeks & is currently still there

Told that the digital radio won't work until it has an update, which won't be available for a while. We have had the car since September and we still only have 5 channels. Heard nothing. How can a modern day car be sold without a working radio is beyond me.

The computer on the vehicle settings screen never saves the options I want, very frustrating. It continues for no reason to pull left when driving straight with no wind, various other irritating issues.

constant errors.
Been taken to multiple Dacia garages who give the car back unchanged. Error message stops the parking brake from working properly, making the car more difficult and dangerous to drive.

Cheap feeling to the overall driving experience very noisy inside when driving no rear interior lights, no seat belt hight adjustment, very clunky and difficult to pull seat forward or push back.
