It is a much bigger car than I realized. It does pretty much everything I need. I really cannot find faults with it. I have had it for 4.5 months and have done about 7000 miles. It has not once dropped below 50 mpg. The front windows defrost amazingly quickly.
What could be better.
1 - 3 times I have caught my knee on the door handle, it being a bit rough where my knee comes into contact with it.
2 - to be able to set eco mode and eco save as default
3 - to be able to adjust the dashboard light at night time (I cannot find it in the manual)
4 - the digital radio is forever cutting out, for one or 2 seconds at a time but hopefully that is because I am in a poor reception area

excellent off road....would be better with All Terrain Tyres ...
would benefit from mud flaps for when using off road ..
why no grab handles in Bigster ... had them in the Duster Journey!! .. wife has mobility issues so they were a definate help ..
Not a fan of the automatic handbrake....
POSITIVES:
noticable straight away how much more comfortable the seats were compared to the Duster Journey ..
gearbox was much smoother ...
ample room for back passengers, even for a six-footer !!
back space is impressive .. can fit mobility walker in no problem and leaves space for anything else ..
very impressed with the automatic dipping of headlights for night driving ..

A great car reasonable price too.
A pleasure-to drive
Niggles . It is a bit jerky while driving
. It really should come provided with mudflaps
. Centre console is a tiny bit restrictive and large on the hybrid especially for tall people
. Occasionally the front camera seems to stop working but then comes back to life
Overall though it’s a good comfortable car. The suspension works well on the roads and I’m getting good 57 mpg
A good warranty too with out breaking the bank for service costs
So far very impressed just need to connect my car to my phone it’s not playing ball currently

Comfortable drive and good fuel economy. Heated seats and steering wheel are good, but the button for the heated steering wheel can take a few times to work. Not used the cruise control much as the camera seems to pick up things that aren't there and quite abrupt alarms go off which is off-putting. There is loads of space for passengers and good boot space. Seats are very comfortable. Not enough decent cup holders but the cool box is a really good option, particularly for longer journeys. All around cameras are really useful, but the quality of the picture isn't amazing, but they do the job. Overall, you get a lot for your money.

Very happy that the Bigster meets my requirements for a modern car which can tow my 1230kg caravan, and works economically as a family car. I ordered a full size spare wheel, as I sometimes use the caravan in remote areas, and also will go off road in the car (solo!). However, it diminishes the usable size of the boot more than I imagined, which is disappointing. The 6 month wait for the car to be built and delivered disappointed me a lot.
I would have much preferred the upcoming full hybrid version with rear axle electric motor which can also tow, but thought I needed a new tow car more quickly. Perhaps I should have waited?

unfortunately, I am disappointed with several aspects of the vehicle condition and the handover process. the paintwork quality is not up to the standard I expected. there is a noticeable black dot on the passenger door, and the paintwork on the roof is poorly finished. areas appear to have been missed and not properly covered with black paint. in addition the spare wheel (space saver) and extra light accessories were not included as expected, which caused further inconvenience. overall this made the process feel like a waste of my time, as these issues should have been identified and resolved before delivery.

I am very pleased with my bigster. It feels dependable, and capable with it being the 4x4. I do like the very many lines to look at around the body work, from every angle to me it looks good. Its easy to live with and comfortable, the performance is adequate but I feel it could do with a little more power/torque for the size of the car or a larger more refined engine with 150-160hp and 280-300Nm of torque which would make it much better to drive and in sixth gear it wouldn't feel like the engine was labering when the car asks you to change up to sixth gear.

The Bigster is a great car, roomy and easy to drive. Some of the plastics look a bit cheap, but you get what you pay for and overall the car doesn’t look ‘cheap’, it’s just clearly not premium. The boot cover is clunky and awkward and falls off its rails while you’re trying to adjust it. The automatic windscreen wipers seem a bit erratic. Sometimes they go crazy over a slight drizzle, other times they don’t even come on in pouring rain. Everything else is great. I enjoy driving it. It’s not a fun car to drive, but it’s comfortable and pleasant.

I like the technology and safety. Petrol economy is miraculous - 51mpg over 2400 miles and based on actual fuel fill-ups - not onboard computer which in common with other cars over-estimates the level of economy.
I don't like the restriction regarding not "loading" the spare wheel compartment - even when no spare wheel is carried. This would be the only useable space for the essential "stuff" that every motorist needs to carry around. My "stuff" is now in the main luggage compartment which is untidy and restricts the space for actual luggage.

Overall the Bigster is very good value for money. My only moans are the phone connectivity. It disconnects randomly. You get in and out of the car a couple of times and all is fine then the next time you have to reconnect your phone. Also gets confused when two phones are in the car and one leaves it doesn’t pick up on the phone that is still in the car unless you reconnect. The Kadjar used to do this automatically. Also I cannot fathom why I am sometimes driving around using petrol when I have a fully charged battery.
