Being mobility impaired, I was looking for something that I could get into, and drive. Inititially the Jogger appealed, but getting my knee under the steering wheel was difficult. The dealer suggested the Duster, which I tried and could manage. Top of the range was a great price, far below the competition like-for-like, so I went for it. No regrets, and I love driving it. Also very economical, at around 56mpg.

My only gripe is the boot stowage. I have the full hybrid, so there is no false floor, meaning that items such as the tool kit have nowhere to live. As I have a folding mobility scooter, that means that things are not stowed very well, particularly when I have to load up with shopping bags.

An interesting point: my wife has not yet driven it, saying that it seems quite big. She thought our neighbour's Mini would be better. I looked at the dimensions, and the footprint of the Mini is larger!

Overall, I love it, and enjoy driving it.

The Bluetooth never seems to work, has to be reset every time I use the car. Only one phone can be recognised which is useless if more than one driver using the car. Functions are disabled when the car is in motion which is annoying if passenger trying to change settings. The parking sensors are too sensitive and inaccurate, end up parking inaccurately. The vigilance warning pops up after driving at 70mph for ten seconds which is annoying when doing motorway driving. The phone charger pad does not work. Ever. The wipers go from never wiping to wiping too often in medium rainfall.

As this is the 4th dacia I have purchased. Up until now have liked the interior and controls but find that the new duster is a bit temperamental and find changing the radio station and level of sound awkward. Also when the control panel updates while driving is very annoying as can't see anything. The back doors are sometimes difficult to open due to the style of handle. Would have helpful if the boot closed by a button rather than trying to reach up.

I wasn’t made aware that this Duster doesn’t have seat warming facility and that the media sockets are no longer compatible with my phone and no one can pair it to the car. I had a rushed handover and don’t understand how to change some settings and there’s no proper handbook now it’s all online and I don’t have access to the internet so can’t look anything up

Functional, does the basics well, no fuss, nice design, great value, economical, one switch to kill all the assist stuff is brilliant, 3D stereo perfectly acceptable. One issue, sometimes I need to reconnect my phone as it doesn’t remember my CarPlay (every half a dozen times

I get in the car), but other than that, it’s great, thank you.

My third Duster so that suggests satisfaction and this new model is even better. Being a mild hybrid, it took a little time to figure out all the “bells and whistles” . Most are useful and those I don’t want are simply turned off.

Passengers comment on good comfort in the back and large capacity for luggage. Very pleased.

Purchasing a new car can often feel like a high-pressure, stressful ordeal filled with hidden fees and pushy salespeople. From the moment I stepped into the showroom, the customer service was nothing short of exceptional.

The driving position aids spacial awareness..The advice re Speed Limits is positive..The load space is impressive..

I enjoy the experience of an Automatic vehicle..

I have yet to fully address all The Tech Issues attached to the Duster.. However some elements of the internal trim could be addressed and improved..

A good and useful vehicle with some nice touches but with some essential areas lacking .

Over-revving and excessive idle speeds still an issue although the over-revving is better since the last 2 updates were applied but idle speed still requires an examination ..

A great vehicle, easy to drive and economical for it size and speed, good on the M/ways and handles well on country roads and lanes. The all round vision from the cameras is a great asset in tight spaces, rear seat passengers are happy with leg room etc.
