Our first hybrid car and we love the size of it which is similar to our last Renault Kajar.

Slightly disappointed that it doesn't use more electric than was hoped for. But getting 53 mpg out of it around our hilly area.

What is annoying is having to switch off the default driver assistance AND the cruise controls EVERY time we start the car! Making sure we use our driver preferences every time!

We do not like the automatic lights and again find it difficult to opt out of default which is to be always on automatic. Dipping lights is risky on auto and when slowing down round our rural area, the lights dip when we would have chosen to keep full beam on like driving round rural bends.

Had to turn off the hands free locking system as it continually locked when we moved 4 feet away - very annoying whilst loading on the drive and had to keep unlocking it! Now switched off its fine.

We really liked the Kajar and feel a little disappointed with this one.

Having said our grievances, we are growing to like it and it's power and acceleration, comfort and space.

Will probably change it in a couple of years and go back to my favourite Renault - of which I have had many. But good to be hybrid and doing our 'bit for the environment'. Maybe look at a 'plug in hybrid' next time. Certainly can't do with electric.in our rural area and no charge points.

I like the size of the car and driving position. The electrics could be better, especially with the backing of a company like Renault. The radio "stutters", missing words. The radio switched the volume off for 10 days and then started again. The sat nav didn't work properly, telling me desti actions were other right when they were on the right, images on screen reversed, not finding locations. There was an update to software recently and the sat nav didn't work at all for 3 days. The dashboard display kept changing without any help from me. The cruise control would suddenly cut in and leave me doing 20 mph in heavy traffic. I like the car, but please sort out the electrics!

Lots of online "chatter" about hard plastics, but i honestly don't notice it. I also get good fuel economy, average 66mpg. There's a lot of weird and wonderful noises from the Hybrid system as it switches between modes, i've never had had that before with a Hybrid. It seems to be a quirk of the Renault Hybrid system fitted in Dacia models, as my friends Jogger does exactly the same. The infortainment can occasionally be glitchy....sometimes my phone connects....sometimes it doesn't. The auto gearbox often hesitates when changing up into top gear, this seems to be a well documented issue. But overall good value for money.

This is my first automatic car and I am delighted with it. From the start of the purchase process through to collecting my vehicle the service in the show room was top notch. With hind sight I think the explaination of the dash board tech / Dacia manual could have been better or at least undertaken slower. I am not a fan of on lime manuals, but I know everyone wants to keep cost down. That said a basic, quick introduction information sheet would have been very welcome.

Do I have any regrets about the purchase of this car. No, none what so ever. It a fantastic car from a first class show room.

Overall, I am happy with my Dacia Duster. It is a practical, comfortable car with plenty of space and good value for money. However, I am not completely satisfied with the hybrid system and automatic transmission. I find the gear changes and transition between the electric motor and petrol engine can sometimes feel less smooth than I have experienced in other brands. This can make the driving experience feel slightly less refined, particularly when accelerating or changing speed. I hope future models can improve the smoothness and responsiveness of the hybrid and automatic system.

Good points: Comfort, fuel economy, multimedia connectivity, raised ride height, feeling of strength and solidity. Not so good points: I like heated seats and a heated steering wheel, but dislike having to take the tacky copper-coloured badging, door mirrors and interior trim of the Extreme grade to get them. I'd have preferred them as an extra-cost option on the Journey trim. And there's no spare wheel, just a tin of tyre gloop, and no storage for a spare wheel, so the RoadHero spare takes up a lot of room in the boot.

The Duster has an economical hybrid engine. It drives well & is comfortable.

As a pensioner, I havs found the computer challenging. The rear seat belts are not easy to use as the link in the seat is easily pushed down so far it becomes inaccessible.

I love it very much

A few settling in problems

Only reason not giving five stars is the grating on the front brakes

Was told it would settle but 1500

Miles later still the same

Build quality, space, boot capacity, access, style all excellent.

Electronic hand brake could be in more prominent position.

Heating and AC contcould be simplified.

Transmission between electric and engine is noisy and not satisfactory. Comfort, parts & accessories all are below the standard I would expect.
