I like the size of the car and driving position. The electrics could be better, especially with the backing of a company like Renault. The radio "stutters", missing words. The radio switched the volume off for 10 days and then started again.The sat nav didn't work properly, telling me desti actions were other right when they were on the right, images on screen reversed, not finding locations. There was an update to software recently and the sat nav didn't work at all for 3 days. The dashboard display kept changing without any help from me. The cruise control would suddenly cut in and leave me doing 20 mph in heavy traffic. I like the car, but please sort out the electrics!

The Bluetooth never seems to work, has to be reset every time I use the car. Only one phone can be recognised which is useless if more than one driver using the car. Functions are disabled when the car is in motion which is annoying if passenger trying to change settings. The parking sensors are too sensitive and inaccurate, end up parking inaccurately. The vigilance warning pops up after driving at 70mph for ten seconds which is annoying when doing motorway driving. The phone charger pad does not work. Ever. The wipers go from never wiping to wiping too often in medium rainfall.

Great car. I'm loving the parking cameras all round, and the safety feature of the wing mirrors going orange if another vehicle is in your blind spot when over taking you.

The only nuisance feature is that the red rear seat belt plug ins disappear into the soft fabric padding of the seats when you try to connect them. This makes it a bit fiddly, especially if you are putting seat belts on children and have to lean over the childrens car seats to find the connectors, which easily get buried into the fabric padding of the back seat.

Good points: Comfort, fuel economy, multimedia connectivity, raised ride height, feeling of strength and solidity. Not so good points: I like heated seats and a heated steering wheel, but dislike having to take the tacky copper-coloured badging, door mirrors and interior trim of the Extreme grade to get them. I'd have preferred them as an extra-cost option on the Journey trim. And there's no spare wheel, just a tin of tyre gloop, and no storage for a spare wheel, so the RoadHero spare takes up a lot of room in the boot.

Excellent car for both value and the driving experience. Dacia have come a long way in the new design of their cars. My 1.8 Duster journey full hybrid is amazing on fuel consumption I'm currently getting 62 mpg and a range of overground 700 miles which is absolutely fantastic. Lovely looking car with a well planned out interior design with loads of room and it is a pleasure to drive. Will definitely renew to another Dacia duster in three years time.

I wasn’t made aware that this Duster doesn’t have seat warming facility and that the media sockets are no longer compatible with my phone and no one can pair it to the car. I had a rushed handover and don’t understand how to change some settings and there’s no proper handbook now it’s all online and I don’t have access to the internet so can’t look anything up

Moving to the hybrid Duster has been a great experience. The car is very pleasant to drive, and with adaptive cruise control, the heavier the traffic the more relaxing it is - especially as the car is almost always using just electric power in queues. It's early days yet, but we are very pleased with our Dacia so far.

The driving position aids spacial awareness..The advice re Speed Limits is positive..The load space is impressive..

I enjoy the experience of an Automatic vehicle..

I have yet to fully address all The Tech Issues attached to the Duster.. However some elements of the internal trim could be addressed and improved..

Like the look of it,really good value for money and fuel economy is good given it's a hybrid.Hadn't driven an automatic for almost 40 years but now I've gotten used to it I really like it.This is my 3rd Duster since 2019.Liked them all but this is the best yet!

Love the roominess & colour of car. Also how quiet it is after a non hybrid.

Things that would improve it :

Fold in mirrors

Keyless (haven’t had a car key for years)

Speed sign recognition on motorways. Stays at whatever it was before joining motorway
