Everything you need in a small family car. I got the 110bhp version for a bit more ‘oomph’ which works well. You won’t be racing any F1 cars, but there’s enough to get past a slow vehicle when needed.

It’s a comfy enough ride with usually Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

My only gripe is that in order to improve NCAP safety, Dacia have added lots of active safety driver aid, e.g., lane assist, speed awareness, etc. They meant well and on paper it’s great, but the reality is that they really don’t work well in reality.

The lane assist is too aggressive and doesn’t allow for any kind of driver lateral movement before beeping at you. The speed alert beeps with literally 1 mph over limit. Every so often on a 40 road it beeps at you then badly distracts you saying ‘KEEP CONTROL’ when you’re basically just driving like a human and not like a robot.

You can configure these and activate ‘Personalised safety mode’ (you have to activate every time you start car) which you can actually drive it without being beeped to hell, but Dacia should really improve the software and configure with real driving conditions as it does more distraction than safety in default mode.

The lane assist in my opinion is dangerous. It just randomly pulls the steering whilst going along a single carriageway with a slight curve. There's no way to turn it off permanently!

Also the exhaust is really noisy and sounds like it's blowing. It's been checked out but the retailer said it's fine.

Another issue is that when the car is started from cold, there seems to be a short burst in acceleration whilst crawling out of the drive etc. It's dangerous and unnerving!

Taking it back in to be checked again because it's not right.

Changed down from a duster and regret it.

I enjoy driving this car. It has all the tech I want, looks great inside and out and is perfect for my needs.

I really like that I can turn off lane assist with two taps of a single button. On the narrow country roads where I live lane assist is a liability. Some of my friend have to scroll through menus to disable this feature which is dangerous when you are on the move.

What could you do better? If I follow the gear change indicator then the car labours a bit. I ignore it and keep the revs a little higher. Much more comfortable.

I have been very lucky I see Derek Kent each time I change my car and this one is my 6th I find it very easy to drive comfortable to sit in and because of my bad hip it's at right height for me to get in and out of without causing problems to my hip I like the way Derek gives me all the facts and gives me time to think it over and the cars have all been presented in top condition I'm very happy with the service I've had since my first dacia in 2011

Overall a positive experience. I enjoy how the vehicle drives, it’s a decent size and I appreciate how it looks. It’s also economical enough at 42mpg on average. But overall quality is lacking. The digital radio has never worked properly, bits of trim keep falling off, and the front electric windows have both completely stopped opening and closing. I have only done 1600 miles, I worry how my car will look after 12 months!

Lovely car to drive, I don't like the way the car tries to control my steering and puts braking on. It's good you can turn the settings off. Be good if there was better cup holders. Theres little things about the car but overall I do enjoy driving this car and I do feel safe in it. I love the style of it and the fact it has roof racks on that are easy to use. Brilliant on petrol and I would buy another one.

I liked the colour , not happy about the new addition it pulls you in if your near the hard shoulder , this experience hasn’t been the best , and wasn’t explained and came as a shock , also no manual , I was told it was online , not the same , was not treated as a valid customer, as this is my fifth car , and I recommended these cars to my family, I personally will not purchase any more .

Car drives great and does everything it should. However, on the downside, there are a few dashboard creaks which are extremely annoying. Even on average roads this manifests itself, particularly on the passenger side. This really is the only gripe have but it is frustrating! Trouble is, even if I go back to the dealer I might not be able to replicate it. So, suffering on, intermittently.

Whilst I like the vehicle I think DACIA have gone a little over the top with the technology I understand we are in the age of computors but when these features are built into a vehicle it would be nice to have a written handbook not everyone is completely computor literate and I don't carry my computor with me to see what all these features are and to check how to overcome them

This new car has a much more noisy engine than my previous stepway. The sat nav is not working properly. I don't like the black wheels and the white plastic logo. The old Dacia badge and silver wheels looked much nicer. The steering wheel keeps battling with me, when I'm perfectly positioned on the road. I wish I had kept my previous Dacia instead buying another new one
