It's a great car but there a few odd little things, the windscreen is tiny and so close to the dashboard. I'm only 5'2 and have to have my seat lowered or my head would be touching the roof which means I don't get the view I would have in other SUVs.

The cruise control has no distance check, so it can't monitor and slow the speed to match the car in front, this means you could go straight into the back of someone if you misjudged their speed. Lots of cars have adaptive cruise control now, which I think is much safer.

The lane assistance is also a bit strange it seems to be hardly ever on and the car will drift but randomly it'll sense a crack, an old line and try to correct you but its wrong, then will give you a warning about control when it was the car and the warning also comes on when you go over very bumpy roads which is just weird, your going to move slightly on bumpy patches of road e.g country lanes.

The second cup holder in the front of the car, in the center is basically unusable as its covered by the compartment lid and you can't get your drink out without lifting that lid.

I have just bought a new Dacia Bigster Extreme. It is a fabulous car, however I have a disabled wife so I decided to have side steps fitted to aid her to get into the car. I must the side steps look really good, but they serve no purpose whatsoever. They are almost impossible to stand on and are no help to my wife. Added to the fact that the car is going back for the third time to get the sill trim refitted again, as is comes away from the bodywork. A complete waste of money. However, as I have said, otherwise its is a great car, very quiet and very economical with a large boot to accommodate my wife's wheelchair.

This is a great car and has met all our expectations. We needed a car with a big boot and this certainly delivers. The rear seating has plenty of room too and has that extra space especially when you need to accommodate for child seats.

The car looks great and have had plenty of compliments and drives smoothly and has comfortable seating and have had no issues on long distance driving. It has loads of features which are welcoming however one thing I do miss is the automatic parking when stood at a junction or traffic lights etc, but would definitely recommend.

What I didn’t like was being told that my car was here but I couldn’t have it for 9 weeks due a rear suspension issue that you didn’t know how to resolve, that you would give me a courtesy Bigster while waiting for mine to be repaired and therefore putting more miles on my part ex car. The utter lack of communication between Dacia and the dealership was shocking, no one knew when this car was going to be handed over to me. Would I. It from Dacia again - not a chance

Only two negative comments, 1. Auto gearbox struggles to select right gear when hovering around 40mph which in local moving traffic becomes frustrating. 2. If the automatic gearbox was available on 4x4 then it would the perfect vehicle for me and many others. Everything else works well and glad to have purchased it so far. No other vehicle ticked as many boxes and although it is quite a narrow vehicle for its appearance it still feels spacious.

The BIGSTER is everything we need and more, auto tailgate a back saver, the overall comfort is brilliant and as for fuel consumption, it is a VERY big suprise to find the real life mpg corresponds closley with Dacia's claims.

After being on motability for over 30yrs and deciding at the age of 66 to purchase outright for the 1st time I could not be happier with the vehicle.

It really is a big bugger isn't it. Does everything I require of it. Get all the glamping gear in without a hitch. Just one small hiccup. The electronic parking brake is not situated in the easiest position, way down on the right next to the door. I would much prefer to have it in the centre where the mechanical handbrake was always situated.

It's just so easy to drive, light no fuss, quiet, sits happy on the motorway has all the toys you need. To make better ....not much, be able to turn off the stop start on mild hybrid and sharpen up the steering as understeers with out much help. Apart from that I still love it, and enjoy being in it and driving.
