Very happy that the Bigster meets my requirements for a modern car which can tow my 1230kg caravan, and works economically as a family car. I ordered a full size spare wheel, as I sometimes use the caravan in remote areas, and also will go off road in the car (solo!). However, it diminishes the usable size of the boot more than I imagined, which is disappointing. The 6 month wait for the car to be built and delivered disappointed me a lot.
I would have much preferred the upcoming full hybrid version with rear axle electric motor which can also tow, but thought I needed a new tow car more quickly. Perhaps I should have waited?

unfortunately, I am disappointed with several aspects of the vehicle condition and the handover process. the paintwork quality is not up to the standard I expected. there is a noticeable black dot on the passenger door, and the paintwork on the roof is poorly finished. areas appear to have been missed and not properly covered with black paint. in addition the spare wheel (space saver) and extra light accessories were not included as expected, which caused further inconvenience. overall this made the process feel like a waste of my time, as these issues should have been identified and resolved before delivery.

Make the adaptive cruise control less susceptible to not working, use radar instead of the front camera.
Car is very comfortable and the large boot is excellent. Engine is a bit noisy when it is charging. Unless you get over 50mph it stays in too low a gear so revs a lot.
The wireless connection to android auto drops out occasionally as well. Most of the time it is good.
The built in sat nav needs an auto-light function, when it is night or day. As having to go into menu to change is not the best while driving.

I upgraded from the Jogger (hybrid) to the Bigster (hybrid) recently. I did this because of a number of improvements, and it is all as I hoped for. I love the panoramic roof and the improved sound system. Also the drive train is smoother and a little bit more powerful, which makes it better for the long journeys on the motorway. Furthermore, it is more quiet in the cabin due to better insulation. There is more space in the back seats area, and there is heating there as well. Great car, excellent value for money.

I like the car, it gives a smooth comfortable ride. It has a lot of tech that is great to assist the driver. Very economical.
What I have found is that in a sunny day the front camera does not work. Which is ok as should not re!y on technology. Electric driver seat would be a bonus as when you get in 9 times out of the you have to readjust the seat as you catch the seat lever when you get in and out. I had the side steps fitted as it is rather high but the step needs to be wider as your foot does not fit on.

2,000 miles in and so far, very pleased with my Dacia Bigster 155 Hybrid Extreme. I love the commanding elevated drive position, intelligent hybrid drive and head-turning looks. The economy is excellent and interior very practical and well designed. What could be better - the 4 auto gears appear to struggle with appropriate changes up, and the volume/mode stalk on the steering wheel is completely hidden from driver view - irritating but bearable once to learn to 'feel' the position to change anything.

4x4, decent size, good fuel economy, rolls ahead easily on mild hybrid motor/engine combination, soft bouncy ride (good for offroading and over potholes), sunroof lets in more cabin light.
Stop Start has only worked three times since I've had the car last October, not sure it's worth having.
Lack of a valet button for when you don't want the vehicle electrical systems to switch on when parked up and opening/closing car doors during valeting or loading/unloading with engine off.

I like the Dacia Bigster most because of the relaxed driving style. It reminds me of an Volvo 240 I had years ago, as it's not the kind of car to rush about in encouraging me to drive safely and not take chances. The one thing that should be ironed out are the glitches in infotainment, yesterday the volume button would not change the sound level of the music, I had to arrow down and then got 4 different volume bars to do this while driving is not ideal.

Love the drive..love the car to a point..just small things..camera issues. Speed camera issues..lane departure..totally pain on country roads..rear door handles to flimsy for me..gear box..1st to 2nd..to short..5th to 6th..gear to tall..revs to low at 60mph ..so car engine struggles..headlights on low beam brilliant..but unfortunately not great on high beam..should all be Led..other than that well happy with car..would purchase another in the future..

It is a lovely car to drive. Very spacious inside and a comfortable ride for passengers and driver. There is plenty of boot space. The heated steering wheel and seats are really good too. Good fuel economy too. The cool box is also handy.
The cup holders are not sufficient, you are very limited in the cups that actually fit in it and it doesn't seem you can buy them as add ons for this model which is disappointing.
