I upgraded from a 2016 stepway to a hybrid duster beginning of this year. It was an incredible change. I love this car! The interior is a lovely soft denim, its got the protection and has proven its worth, spills don't get absorbed and stained. Food doesn't get stuck or stained either. The updated multimedia is spot on, connection never fails and is always responsive. I love the boot, it has a shelf on the bottom that can be removed to and extra depth to the capacity! Back seats fold down completely flat as well which is an improvement on previous models. Externally it is a beauty and always get compliments.

The one thing that could be done better is the wireless charging pad. Its not always quite as reactive and the phone can move on it. So it ends up draining the battery trying to connect and disconnect.

This is my 5th Dacia and they get better every time I’ve got the 1.6 hybrid automatic the drive is brilliant the only thing I don’t like is the stop start it’s out off the way it’s something I’ve to look for every time I get in car

The second thing is the spares are not easily accessible and have to wait months for part you need even though the dealership the car is probably the second biggest thing you buy so you are still selling them and you know that when it comes to parts it’s very hard and its put customers of when choosing there next car

One thing that Dacia could improve on is were to get parts from in the uk apart from dealership there’s no we’re

Obviously the price makes the car very attractive.

Build quality is good, spec is good and performance is very good. I haven't had any issues with the car at all. Everything works as it should.

If anything could be improved, it's perhaps the road noise at motorway speed, it's gets a bit loud at times especially on older road surfaces. I also find the all round cameras a bit of a gimmick, front and rear are fine, but I can't think of a time I would need the side cameras. That said, I really like my Duster and would not hesitate to buy another in the future, as long as they stay affordable.

Now that I am used to all the ding's, dongs and warbling noises etc., I am a very contented driver, and use them to my advantage when I am on the move, although it did take a while to understand them and separate them all out in my head.

The car is a real pleasure to drive, light but, with a secure feeling on the road, with the transition from engine to EV and back again being seamless.

This is my third Duster (with other models and makes in between) and they improve all the time but how this one can be bettered is hard to understand

Have found it a good car to drive and is economical. I get 41 MPG. I think that the finish on the lift up seats in the rear is rather poor and crude. This could be improved at very little extra cost. I have a proper spare wheel but could never get the cage for it though this was promised in the initial deal so the spare just sits in the back and takes up a lot of room. Did not find the sat nav very user friendly. Also to open and shut the electric windows you have to turn on the engine. On most vehicles you do not need to do that.

Excellent drive and much better overall build quality and soundproofing from previous Duster models that I have owned. One issue that I know is bugging Extreme Hybrid model owners on the various forums is that considering it is the most expensive trim level, it actually does not get the false floor in the boot that the Journey model does and this is a very useful and flexible additional storage area if you have a dog or if you purchase a space saver spare wheel - it's a shame that Dacia chose to do this.

Overall the new Duster is an excellent vehicle. I do have three small issues though

1) It is possible for a passenger to active the bonnet release level and the bonnet will release whilst driving. This is unnerving to say the least.

2) The windscreen washer liquid refilled cap is not as obvious as it should be. The colour should perhaps be changed to make it more visually obvious.

3) The engine lacks torque at low revs in low gear. This can make pulling away slowly and under control a bit difficult.

I like the fantastic shape, the overall look and appearance. It drives beautifully and smooth and is quite economical. The entertainment function is quite odd as it randomly plays the radio automatically when starting the engine or it doesn’t, and then it’s really difficult to work it. Plus, it doesn’t stay on the chosen channel. I am also surprised this day and age that it doesn’t have a windscreen heater for those frosty mornings. I also find navigating through the functions quite complicated.

I have the D3 extreme full hybrid. It would be a great car if not for the dreadful automatic gearbox. I have no control over when the gears change and there has been many times, especially when overtaking or gaining speed up hill, that the gears just don’t change up and instead make an awful over revving sound. It’s embarrassing and frustrating. It’s been back to the dealer and I was told it’s a known issue with the Renault gearbox that is used in this model. I’d not get another one after this!

Brilliant experience from showroom to delivery

Had a Sandero for 8 years and decided I wanted to treat myself and get an upgrade.

Had noticed that there was a new Duster on the market so went dealership to view one after some internet reviews.

Settled on on the Extreme automatic Hybrid and couldn’t be happier.

Looks awesome. So many toys and gadgets. Had so many positive comments off friends etc.

The price is excellent

The fuel economy is superb

Would honestly recommend one to anybody
