Absolutely shocking service. Will never buy another vehicle from Lookets Chester or recommend. When collected from dealership very poor handover with limited explanation of how to use basic functions - told it was due to poor wifi - absolute rubbish as couldn't connect to Dacia app for 30 HOURS! Also paintwork was faulty (which was later corrected), internal roof fabric had been scraped but was told it was an 'imperfection in the fabric' - everyone who's seen it says it's been scraped. Rear Dacia logo on boot had marks on it. Immediately phoned and sent photos of the faults. Car was picked up and paintwork on passenger door fixed however, when the car was returned to me the marks on the boot were even worse and clearly visible. I rang Lookers and was told it was just dust/dirt from driving the car back!! Sent more photos to prove this was absolute nonsense. Also said they'd look at internal roof fabric.

I was told they'd supply me with a loan car whilst mine was fixed and this was confirmed by email which also stated by way of an apology they'd send me a cup holder which never arrived. I didn't hear anything for 4 weeks so rang them and asked about the cup holder and when my car was going to be fixed. I rang on a Monday and was told the salesman was on leave till Thursday but the manager l spoke to rudely queried why l was due to be sent a cup holder as he didn't know anything about it so sent the email promising it. He did nothing and l had to wait until the salesman returned on Thursday.

Eventually car was collected and loan car dropped off. Told l'd need a replacement rear part but could take up to 10 days. I had previously suggested they order the part earlier and, if not required, it could be returned as this would save time but no, this wasn't done. Heaven forbid anyone should be proactive or use common sense.

I now have my car back but no proper apology and do not appreciate being accused of lying over some crappy plastic cup holder which, by the way, has a lead that is too short to connect to a mobile but hey ho l finally have my car.

The customer service at Lookers Chester is non existent and no one seems to have heard of Quality Control. I also strongly object to being fobbed off and taken for a fool as if l can't see faults that clearly exist!

DON'T EVER BUY ANY CAR FROM THIS APPALLING DEALERSHIP

So the car was bought brand new in July 2025, and unfortunately it has already had to go in for warranty work, the car was collected late in the evening so the lighting was poor, when I got to see the car in the daylight I noticed all the discoloured trims, this is from the vehicle being sat at the dock side or whereever (car was taken from Dacias central stock), the cowling under the front wiper was a bleached grey and the steel wheels were bleached as well, it has been a fight to get this sorted and has certainly left a bad taste in my mouth, the infotainment isn’t great, it has got better with a few updates but it is slow and buggy still, the car is supplied with actual linglong tyres which at any sign of moisture like to spin rather than grip. The car is currently with a dealer where they have identified a rattle but don’t know how to fix it.

****UPDATE****

Just an update and I collected the car back on the 3rd, and was assured by the dealership the noise was fixed and it's still there.

The dealership replaced the steel wheels but didn't bother to clean all the tyre soap off the wheels or even clean the car, which considering the ongoing issues.

The sun bleached trim has been replaced but now the outer trims are a different colour.

I emailed the dealership Martins Dacia of Reading with the report on the issues still being present on the 4th November and I am yet to have an email back (12th November), they obviously do not care as Dacia have emailed them and they do not bother to even contact them back

Customer service is awful, safety factor on the car is low and brakes do not work properly. Car's safety features arent great too. Also the car doesnt full charge to the amount you would like it to.

Absolutely outstanding!! My Dacia Spring Extreme is without doubt my best all round car to date! I say that having owned many a top brand (Audi/VW/Volvo) over the years. It just does everything i want and need in a car. Being my first EV i can say without reservation it is truly remarkable! The range is absolutely fine. Some say to little but for mine and id say most people's regular routine it works. To the gym, shopping, family, social, it does it all. I charge on my three pin socket every three days to give me the power/range o need. As for the specifics around performance. Again, ive owned and driven many a performance car but the Dacia gives a punchy and spirited driving.experience. 0 to 30 is rapid! Over and above is more than adequate given the power of the motor. All the way up to motorway speeds it does the job. The tech inside is exceptional and provides me with all the modern essentials. I know it will be superb in the winter with the skinny tyres. Ill feel confident in snow without worry. So all in all id give the Dacia Spring Extreme a 10/10! Quite something id say!! and it takes a lot to impress me! Enough said. Thank you Dacia, ill be enjoying this fine car for the next 3 years. Keep up the great work!

I've had my new 2025 Spring since March and I find it really suits my needs being on the Isle Of Man, it easily keeps up with everyday traffic and its quite satisfying beating tail gaters off at the traffic lights with the torquey motor. The battery range isn't an issue for me, In the winter I was charging the car once a week and now in the summer I'm getting two weeks between charges.

Bad points are: the infotainment system sometimes doesn't start up when getting into the car, I have to reset it at least once a week, quite annoying.

The fact you can put it in neutral whilst moving is not right either, I did this by accident when I first got the car and because the brake needs to be pressed to select drive you have to pull over to re-select drive.

Headlights could be much better but I'm rarely out after dark tbh.

Bit more adjustability on the drivers seat would be better.

All in all its a smart and nippy little car that is surprisingly good fun to drive given its price.
