Overall satisfied with a few reservations.

Disappointed with range, can't see any way of achieving the claimed 143 miles.

Annoying that headlights can't be turned off, the default setting for auto headlights is much too sensitive (lights come on in broad daylight).

Irritating that lights and radio stay on after key removed and only turn off when door opened.

Have a possible fault in that the steering wheel switches backlighting sometimes doesn't work. Irritating but not worth a 40 mile return trip to dealer to resolve.

Irritating that the "safety" settings always return to the defaults each time car is used resulting in having to cancel and select personal settings every time.

Drivers user manual poor (useless) have learnt how to use features by trial and error (usually error).

To be honest I changed jobs and needed a car and was a little sceptical if it would work for me but as I don’t do more than about 100 miles a day if that at times seem a good move , could not be happier with the car ,love the drive and does all I ask of it , its not slow and you can get a fair amount of shopping in the boot ,have not got the ev charger installed yet as was waiting to see how it was ,so purchased a granny lead and plugged in to 3 pin in the garage,

I would like some where to put my phone and cup holder but will purchase those , its not a luxury car and I knew that when I bought it , but its fun and I love my little car and is a good entry level ev vehicle would recommend this to anyone, its fun .

Charging is main issue, the scheduled charging doesnt work, you can't rely on 80% charging limitation, it randomly charges to 100%.

The multimedia display often doesn't turn on. Pain if reversing and downright dangerous!

The speed limit camera often mis reads signs and includes ones from vans etc that state limit is 80kmh but car thinks it 80 mph!

The cruise control often bombs out totally when you want to reduce speed.

Build quality leaves a lot to be desired, eg boot doesn't close properly so plus other things.

Apart from these, it is a pleasure to drive and if charged at home on EV cheap rate is cheap to run.

There are still not enough commercial chargers to make it viable to use on long distance.

Best car since my 1972 MGB Roadster! As a disabled and elderly person, I find this car absolutely ideal. The “tech” took a little getting used to, but is most welcome. I feel very safe in my Spring. As the title suggests, I was once a sports car driver, and the Spring is by far the nicest car to drive since my MGB days - with the added advantage that, unlike the MG, this car STARTS EVERY TIME! It’s easy to drive, easy to park and extremely economical. I think this car would suit any driver from 17 to 87. What could you do better? I would like to be able to move the driver’s seat back another couple of inches for ease of access.

What I liked the most was the price tag!.... No expensive bells and whistles that puts up the cost, a basic electric car to get you into the ever growing electric car market. I've found the 'Spring' to be a comfortable ride for those hop around the town journeys; it's been a dream to park with the aid of the reversing cameras and in cabin screen display. The accessories are fun to collect; I've had a 'frunk' added which sits above the motor and provides extra storage space for the tethers. Basically, an all-round fun little electric car to own, the baby of the electric car family I know, but it suits my budget perfectly!

This is my first EV car, I have never even driven an automatic vehicle! I was so nervous to drive it BUT it’s fantastic! I love how easy it is to drive, really light steering, great design. I chose khaki green and absolutely love how the interior is perfectly matched. I get so many compliments on the colour too from friends and family. It’s really easy to charge and pretty quick too. My only negative comment I have is that the Siri call assist doesn’t always work, I may have to call into Dacia Oldham just to see if there’s a fix for it. Other than that I am super happy with my Dacia spring.

For me, this car is absolutely brilliant! I'm in my late seventies, do local journeys (about 50 miles per week), charge at home from the mains supply, it fits in my garage with room to spare, has ample boot space for a week's shopping, it's economical (approx 5.8mpkWh), easy to drive, & easily keeps up with urban traffic.

If Dacia had given me a blank sheet of paper and said design your perfect car, this is what I would have come up with!

I can't understand why "they're not flying off the shelves", but apparently UK sales are quite low.

Great car for the money.

Only one issue. There is an intermittent fault where at times, there is a max volume ‘screech/static discharge’ sound (via the sound system) - the sound you get when you unplug an electric guitar from an amp’, when opening a door or the boot.

The same happens with a colleague’s Spring, and a local dealer said their demo vehicle did the same - so is an inherent fault. And no solution to date (6 months later).

Just get ready for a fright now and again.

Other than that, great car. Great value for money.

The speed warning is stuck on KM (with MPH underneath) so it bleeps at 30 kph in a 30 mph zone. I have muted the sound in the profile settings and I am hoping it will be sorted on the first service.

Had to go back to the dealership to get sat nav initiated I think the above is connected, it took an overnight download to cure, better dealership EV knowledge would provide a better experience.

brilliant car was sceptical at first with small battery range but it works for us with 30mile daily round trip and being a lightweight car it really is efficient. instead of £80 diesel a month in our old car it cost under £30 per month electric on overnight rate with utility warehouse . the reviewers said the car is slow yes to 60 or 70 it may be but anything up to 50mph not many engined cars can keep to the pace of this little superb amazing car. and we are not towing a massive battery around with us ******
