Glitchy electronics, a boot lid that will only close if your hand is in a very specific place, tyres with the ride quality of 2p piece's, a heater that really struggles to keep you warm (that will be due to the lack of insulation) and a regeneration system that actively fights you, you can feel the car buck as is kicks in and out, oh and a fault with the charging system that they are fixing but aren't telling anyone about.

Love the car. Budget and economical wise very good. Comfortable and easy to drive. Nice boot size. Ideal for short journeys. Planning is key for long journeys. Lightweight for obvious reasons but do feel the high winds. Big boot. Shame it doesn't have a fifth seat belt but 4 seater even though get 5 in easy.

Expect later versions to have increased mileage range.

Really good entry level to the ev world. Have learned much.

I bought the car purely for local trips typically 50 miles round trip. Back seat has never been used. Permanently down to accommodate big dog.

Car is unbelievablely cheap to run. Approx £4 for around 100 miles. Range, in good weather is 140.

On the downside, it's not ever so comfortable and the doors shut like a van with no attempt at refinement.

But it's an inexpensive runabout and imo is brilliant.

A few niggles: the screen doesn’t always pop up when I get in, and the Apple CarPlay regularly refuses to connect to my phone. The key is awful - not only is there no keyless start, the wretched thing doesn’t even fold up: a complete nuisance in my handbag.

The finish is very ‘minimalist’, but I suppose that’s what you get with a low priced car.

On the other hand, it’s very economical and very responsive.

Spring is so nice to drive, but there is a massive problem when using cruse control on a slight down hill. The car brakes and then accelerates, then breaks harder, then accelerates and breaks, this becomes quite violent. A number of people are reporting the same fault on social media, so I assume It is a software issue. If it wasn't for this I would give the car 5 stars as I really love it.

I like it but we cannot understand all of the controls. We still haven't figured how to switch off the radio. . Itsalso cold in the winter. Otherwise very pleased. We haven't noticed any difference in our fuel bill but we do have solar panels. My husband does complain the the back seat comes in one piece. He would like a split seat so that he can carry another passenger and golf clubs

Runs well, used as a second car. Find the feature to stop you drifting in lane irritating as it comes on when there is no problem, for example when joining a motorway from a slip road. Also find the alarm for exceeding the speed limit will beep when driving past the entrance to residential roads with a lower limit than the main road I'm driving on. However, drives well and is good value

More or less an electric 2CV/ Renault 4. Good ground clearance ( clears most pot holes) . Media screen- a little odd- sometimes doesn't work for miles. Very manouvrable. Build a bit flimsy- but it is a budget model. As a family hack does the job. Haven't tried carrying rear seat passengers yet, it's a little cramped. I use the volvo for that. It does what I expected.

Driving 'Spring Extreme' is just a delight. Having driven nearly 1200 miles now, everything is just perfect and exactly what we were looking for.

The only TRUE review we found was on TopGear. Sure, this is not a Super-Car you want to take on a race track, but as a second car to commute to and from work and go shopping, or the gym it's perfect. We both love driving it.

The car tackles my daily mountain drive with ease and charging is cheap and easy either from my home or using the numerous local charging stations. With the back seats down there is plenty of room for luggage or golf clubs. The one down side is that I can’t open the boot without a gadget. My nails aren’t long but they get in the way of pushing the button in.
