Dacia Sandero according to those who use it on a daily basis

I chose the car on price and style. I have enjoyed my first year of motoring in my Sandero as the car drives well and is very comfortable. I bought the base model as I am not a fan of all the latest gadgets. What can Dacia do better? As a first time customer of the brand, just keep on producing the quality at affordable prices.

I looked forward to getting another new Sandero which I did love until a problem developed within two months.

Having to wait three weeks to get replacement parts has taken all the excitement out of owning my new car.

The dealership I bought it from were very helpful and apologised for the long wait for the replacement parts.

Dropped a star as it doesn’t come with a satnav and the wing mirrors are not electric. Having to open and close them manually l have forgotten once and clipped them on the side of the garage door, taking paint off the car.

Sandero is a good size for my needs. Fuel consumption is good. It is easy to drive.

Smooth and responsive engine. Comfortable and spacious interior. Plenty of bells and whistles to help the driver. (Journey model). An excellent purchase on competitive finance.

Would like a 'maximum defrost/demist' button and its 'maximum cooling' equivalent...the only things I miss from my old car.

I like the new design of the Dacia logo on the back and the less obvious model internet the registration plate.

There could be a bit more leg room in the back.

Rubber mats could be added as a permanent fixture.

Drivers side seat adjustable and the steering wheel

In the 4 months that I have had my Dacia Sandero, I would have to say that it has a really fun car to drive. The mod cons that came with it were a nice touch and it's a very practical car for everyday life too. All in all, I'm very happy with it and would definitely get another in the future.

Hill start good but no visual indication that it has engaged.

Centre pull down armrest for driver can only be used when stationary as it sits over the handbrake. Why not just put in electronic handbrake. Dashboard view very basic.

Economical to run but lacks acceleration power.

Really like the parking sensors which last Sandero didn’t have, also like the speed limit reminder. Not keen on the lane control thought. The choice of colours was limited, and I miss the armrest that my 2021 model had. Overall nice car at a great price with plenty of room.

I love my little Dacia Sandero Stepway, it has sporty looks and drives great for a small engine car. You can't get better for the price. It's the second one I have owned. Thinking about upgrading to a Duster next time but it depends on the price and cost of living balance.

I test drove this car thinking it would be very basic. It isn't !!! It's comfortable, reliable, economical, and has plenty of extras. The styling is great. There's plenty of luggage space, especially with the back seats down. For the price, I think it's a fantastic bargain.
