I upgraded from a 2016 stepway to a hybrid duster beginning of this year. It was an incredible change. I love this car! The interior is a lovely soft denim, its got the protection and has proven its worth, spills don't get absorbed and stained. Food doesn't get stuck or stained either. The updated multimedia is spot on, connection never fails and is always responsive. I love the boot, it has a shelf on the bottom that can be removed to and extra depth to the capacity! Back seats fold down completely flat as well which is an improvement on previous models. Externally it is a beauty and always get compliments.

The one thing that could be done better is the wireless charging pad. Its not always quite as reactive and the phone can move on it. So it ends up draining the battery trying to connect and disconnect.

Very good size and looks but having now used the car for 3 months I find the car operational functions extremely difficult to navigate. The internal car condition control bar is far to small and very difficult to identify which switch to push to alter conditions. The instruction writing is very faint and difficult to read. I think it is dangerous because you have to take eyes off the road to read the correct button to push. I very often operate the Hazard warning lights without knowing. Needs revamping.

Far to much computerised information and screens to operate. Also any radio information on the screen is virtually impossible to read as it is very faint.

Sorry, but this is my personal observation.

The above is spoiling what otherwise is a good vehicle.

Graham Bird.

Having had had 2 Dusters in a row, I'm very disappointed with the my new acquistion. The windows are much smaller, so much so, that you haven't bothered with a rear screen washer! My wife complains she can't se out of the windows properly from the passenger seat, that has no height adjustment. The radio only comes on half the time, and controlling it's volume seems to have different results each time I try to adjust it. The heating controls are impossible to see at night, and the positioning of the Hazard Warning switch often results in the Hazard lights going on, when struggling to adjust the heating.

I could go on, but I think you'll gather that I'm generally not very impressed.

This is my 5th Dacia and they get better every time I’ve got the 1.6 hybrid automatic the drive is brilliant the only thing I don’t like is the stop start it’s out off the way it’s something I’ve to look for every time I get in car

The second thing is the spares are not easily accessible and have to wait months for part you need even though the dealership the car is probably the second biggest thing you buy so you are still selling them and you know that when it comes to parts it’s very hard and its put customers of when choosing there next car

One thing that Dacia could improve on is were to get parts from in the uk apart from dealership there’s no we’re

Obviously the price makes the car very attractive.

Build quality is good, spec is good and performance is very good. I haven't had any issues with the car at all. Everything works as it should.

If anything could be improved, it's perhaps the road noise at motorway speed, it's gets a bit loud at times especially on older road surfaces. I also find the all round cameras a bit of a gimmick, front and rear are fine, but I can't think of a time I would need the side cameras. That said, I really like my Duster and would not hesitate to buy another in the future, as long as they stay affordable.

It was a big change for me, previously I had aVWGTi for 10 years. The DD is much bigger with more up to date technology on board. As such, it has taken several weeks to become familiar with, some things I’m still not sure of. It’s trial and error. It’s a lovely car, handles well and is exceptionally economical.

One problem I’ve had is the car will not start until I put key pad in cup holder. As such, the first time this happened, I couldn’t figure out what to do and had to call your dealer who explained what was required. It would be better if this was highlighted to new owners at the outset.

I love the driving position, the looks, the colour, the interior..irs all great. I didn't like that i had to contact Dacia to get a print off of the owners handbook, I only use a phone so downloading all of that would not have been practical. I detest the DAB radio, it has no signal so much of the time. I don't like having to switch off lane assist every time. For what I hoped would be a nice basic car it's way too techy for me, I struggle with all of that side of it.

Do I love it? Yes. Do I love it more than I loved my Suzuki? I'm not sure on that one.

All in all though, I enjoy driving it.

Generally pleased with my Duster but let down by minor details. For example annoying click when reversing off drive that sounds like a loose mounting bracket, noisy engine on start up, plastic trims on outside of door not properly fixed to door, sticky rubber pad coming out from rear near side quarter light glass. All of these minor faults add up especially as the car is only 3 months old.

Other than the above minor faults the car drives well, is reasonably quiet, comfortable, good on A roads and motorways and is averaging 46+ to the gallon.

So time will tell

Now that I am used to all the ding's, dongs and warbling noises etc., I am a very contented driver, and use them to my advantage when I am on the move, although it did take a while to understand them and separate them all out in my head.

The car is a real pleasure to drive, light but, with a secure feeling on the road, with the transition from engine to EV and back again being seamless.

This is my third Duster (with other models and makes in between) and they improve all the time but how this one can be bettered is hard to understand

Have found it a good car to drive and is economical. I get 41 MPG. I think that the finish on the lift up seats in the rear is rather poor and crude. This could be improved at very little extra cost. I have a proper spare wheel but could never get the cage for it though this was promised in the initial deal so the spare just sits in the back and takes up a lot of room. Did not find the sat nav very user friendly. Also to open and shut the electric windows you have to turn on the engine. On most vehicles you do not need to do that.
