What is the Dacia mild hybrid powertrain?
The mild hybrid 140 hp powertrain assists the combustion engine only during starting and acceleration to reduce consumption and improve performance. It does not allow for 100% electric driving. It offers more flexible and dynamic driving while providing fuel savings compared with an equivalent non-electric petrol engine.
It combines a new-generation 3-cylinder 1.2 L turbocharged gasoline engine based on the Miller cycle (optimised efficiency and fewer pumping losses) with a lightweight 48 V hybrid system and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
