Advice & tips

You should get your battery looked at every 2 years or 12,000 miles, and replaced every 4 years or 37,000 miles.

It's also best to get your ignition system checked at the start of winter and summer.  Finally, don't forget to get your spark plugs checked every 12,000 miles as well.

Did you know that 85% of breakdowns happen because of a broken or flat battery?  The first signs that something isn't right are:

  • slow ignition
  • electric equipment in your car running slowly
  • seeing the battery warning lights on the dash
