Keeping you safe.
What to expect with your Vehicle Health Check?
The inspection, often referred to as eVHC, (Electronic Vehicle Health Check), is a complimentary check of your car’s components. This inspection will advise you of any defects, or potential problems that you wouldn’t notice under normal driving conditions.
The eVHC takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete and is carried out by one of our factory trained technicians.
It is typically carried out alongside your routine service, MOT, or maintenance repair. However, you can also request one at your local Dacia dealer at any time.
You will also receive a video and explanation from the technician to give you total transparency and confidence.
Anything we need to make you aware of will be reported in the following way:
Green: You are safe and good to go
Amber: Work is recommended, but not urgent
Red: Requires urgent attention
There won’t be any work carried out without your permission. There is no obligation to have any work done, however, in most cases our customers chose us to do the work as it’s the most convenient option.
Red items are primarily safety related. In some instances, if untreated, they can cause consequential damage to other components resulting unnecessary expense.
Amber items are less critical, your workshop representative will offer you a follow up appointment to have the component re-checked. For convenience and peace of mind, you have the option to have the work done while your car is with the dealer.
If you authorise the work, the technician will aim to repair your car on the same day. This is subject to the availability of the parts and time needed to complete the repair. Should your car need to stay overnight the dealer will aim to meet your needs with alternative transport, subject to availability.
