Giving back to those injured in service

Supporting veterans and ex-military service personnel back into employment.

In 2019, Dacia announced a new partnership with Future Terrain, a career transition and rehabilitation charity which focuses on those with physical and mental injuries. Dacia will play an important role in the partnership, providing four Duster 4x4s to support veterans through motoring, motorsport activities and driving related engineering.

Throughout the partnership, the Dusters will be used for off-road racing, challenging expeditions, and training which will help to deliver vocational qualifications for veterans.

Armed Forces charity complete 2,000km extreme Saharan rally

A team of 14 current and ex-military service personnel, some with severe physical and mental injuries, have completed the Carta Rallye in Morocco.

This extreme 2,000km challenge took place in the Sahara Desert, and was completed in a trio of Dacia Dusters.

Over seven days, the Future Terrain team took on giant sand dunes, rocky roads, flooded tracks and harsh terrains - all in Britain's most affordable 4x4.

The journey to Morocco was also just as arduous, with the team driving more than 2,000 mile from the UK and then all the way back home again.

While several specially-built rally cars costing hundreds of thousands were getting stuck overnight in the desert, the shockingly affordable Dusters made it back to camp each night after ten hours of driving.
